Daily Divination is the product of my Front End Web Development course through UCD Professional Academy. I took this course looking to refresh and expand on my knowledge of web design and web coding. I wanted to create a fun and funky one stop shop for people beginning their spiritual journey where they can get daily horoscopes, tarot card readings and numerology in one easy place. I took inspiration from the cozy game and witchtok community to create a soft pastel colour pallette with striking visuals.
I loved creating the project, I had fun learning new languages and collaboration tools like VS Code and Github. I started my designs with Figma wireframes, focussing on design. As I built my code, I became more conscious of accessibility and usability and adapted my designs to fit those needs. It was a fantastic learning experience that I would love to explore more.
